Our group of senior design students worked with Islands of Brilliance* in a unique workshop setting and created 'critter bots', small bug-like figures made of recycled parts and materials. Each mentor then created an illustration based on their student's critter bot.
Afterward, we created and hosted an art exhibition titled 'Little Pieces' in the Tweed Museum of Art centered around the student's unique creations.
*Islands of Brilliance hosts workshops that provide programs for neurodiverse students from ages 8 to adult.
